Pope ‘helping SSPX to buy church in Rome’

Pope Francis has played a “decisive role” in helping the Society of St Pius X buy a church in Rome, according to Il Foglio newspaper. It is hoped the Santa Maria Immacolata all’Esquilino church and attached buildings will serve as a future SSPX headquarters.
