The Most Revd David Chillingworth: correction and apology

In last week’s issue, we incorrectly stated that the Most Revd David Chillingworth, Primus of the Scottish Episcopal Church, invited a member of the local Muslim community to give a reading from the Koran at a cathedral in Glasgow. We apologise for the error in this reporting and regret that the article contained unjustified criticism of the Primus. We also note that the service at which the reading took place was the responsibility of the staff of St Mary’s Cathedral, Glasgow.
